Ion Air Blower
Ion Air Blower from Haug North America is based on the concept of a proven ionization technique. Negative and positive ions are added to the air flow produced by a cross-flow blower. the air flow hence becomes conductive and is able to eliminate electrostatic surface charges on non-conductive material.
The Ion Air Blower operates on a low pressure priciple and does not require costly compressed air. the power supply, which is required to feed the Ionizing Bar with high voltage, also operates on a low energy consumption level. this makes the Ion Air Blower a very efficent Ionizing system, especially for applications where constant Ionization is required.

High Voltage Power Pack Transformers
EN-C type High Voltage Power Pack
Transformers
from Haug North America
are used to supply HAUG ionizing units. The integrated high-voltage section transforms the applied mains voltage to approx. 7,000 to 8,000 volts. The unit is equipped qith two or four high-voltage terminals. Readiness for service is indicated by an integrated pilot lamp.
High Voltage Power Pack Transformers are equipped with the first modular-type high-voltage transformer. It consists of three main modules, all of which can be replaced individually.
With this new development, HAUG is going down a road which is technologically logical and consistent with ecological principles.

NEW! Static Control For The Pharmaceutical Industry From Haug
When pharmaceutical powder is being weighed or filled, the powder may inadvertently stick to the filling funnel and the container due to electrostatic charges. These static charges can produce an inaccurate weighing result.
To assure that no powder particles are attracted to the bottle necks, a special autoclavable Ionizer eliminates the static charge and assures a proper seal down the line.
Before the powder is weighed and filled, the containers are electrostatically neutralized from the outside using ionizing bars "EI PRX".
The HAUG ring electrode "RE" ensures that the powder drops cleanly and forms a proper cone.

Air Knife
The Air Knife belongs to the group of air gates. As the name already indicates, these are ionizers which are supported by air flows. The effectiveness of the Air Knife can be explained by the special design of the air discharge nozzle which creates the so-called coanda effect.
The Coanda Effect In contrast to full jet nozzles, with the coanda effect the ionized air comes out of a slotted nozzle producing a flat jet. The special construction of the bottom-side of the Air Knife causes an unilateral reduction in injection (air suction from the atmosphere), thus creating negative pressure so that the ionized air is directed to the material web.
