ONEhalf20 Product Repairs

All ONEhalf20products are fully repairable. ONEhalf20 melt pressure transducers can normally be repaired in 1 week. To begin, first determine the date of manufacture of your melt pressure transducer to confirm whether or not it’s out of warranty. On the website go to warranty section, and enter the serial number register database. The serial number of the transducer is marked on the transducer label. Enter the serial number of the melt pressure transducer and hit go.

The date of manufacture as well as the full model information will be returned. ONEhalf20 melt pressure transducers are warranted for a period of 2 years from date of manufacture against premature failure due to manufacturing defects.

After you have determined if your transducer falls within the warranty period then contact sales@onehalf20.com and request an RMA (return material authorization), indicating the serial number(s) of the transducer(s) to be repaired. With your RMA number, return the transducer(s) freight prepaid to your local ONEhalf20 distributor. Your local ONEhalf20 distributor will expedite the return, to our head office in Toronto, on your behalf, and provide you with a detailed repair notification and estimate within a few days. You will then be given the opportunity to determine whether or not to repair or replace your melt pressure transducer(s).

Normal repair costs generally run at 50% of the price of a new unit. This price is further reduced if it’s only a diaphragm or re-calibration that is required.

ONEhalf20 is fully able to repair most melt pressure transducers manufactured by other companies. Please contact service@onehalf20.com for more details. Please indicate the manufactures name and model number in your request.

It is a good idea to periodically have your melt pressure transducers re-calibrated, and or re-certified to the ONEhalf20 manufactures original specifications. Contact service@onehalf20.com for further information about intervals of re-calibration and re-certification.
