Notes on"Reliable" Custom Blowdown Valve Assembly
Valve can be arranged to provide as little as 6 inches head pressure to open and close with fresh water pilot operation. Pilot can be operated from fresh water supply for very dirty blowdown water. Pilot strainer included with the valve assembly. Slow closing operation. Valve normally closed, actuate to open. For blowdown line operated pilot operation where fresh water pressure is not available, minimum differential pressure is 10 psi (0.7 bar) with the valve operating into a pressure greater than atmospheric.
