CUNO Cleanable Filter Cartridges
Cleanable, reusable Auto-Klean® edge-type metal filters are capable of filtering highly viscous fluids. Typical applications include lubricating oils, hydraulic fluids, grease, fuel oil, and quenching oils. Auto-Klean® cartridges are - by turning a handle - restoring full flow. The benefits are uninterrupted flow and continuous service, and elimination of cartridge disposal problems. Super Auto-Klean™ filters' two-stage filtration removes particals down to 37 microns nominal. Larger capacity Auto-Klean® and Super Auto-Klean™ filters are available with gearhead motors to provide self-cleaning for continuous operation. Micro-Screen® stainless steel screen mesh elements are ideal for corrosive fluids, strong acids, and chemicals that cannot be filtered by fibre-type media. Micro-Screen® filters are available in special miniature elements for jet engine fuel, air & hydraulic systems. Poro-Klean® stainless steel filter elements, formed from porous sheets of sintered powdered metal, can be manufactured to special shapes. Poro-Klean® is ideal for steam, high temperature liquids & gases, and corrosive fluids that are unsuitable for other filter media.
