Wilbac Electric Panel Meters
Wilbac meters are our main product. We build them, we repair them, we customize them and we make them do exactly what you want them to do. These rugged, high-quality panel meters were originally designed to meet the industry need for a good, moderately priced panel meter. Manufactured for over 30 years, Wilbac has a well-deserved reputation for excellence and value.
Offered normally in 2 ½", 3 ½", and 4 ½" DC and AC rectifier type versions, the Wilbac meter incorporates an efficient, reliable core-magnet movement. Rectifiers and miniature current transformers for the AC types are internally mounted for most ranges, as are the necessary voltage multipliers and DC current shunts.
Cases are ruggedly constructed with two unique features. The molded phenolic backs are compartmented, with the movement isolated in the front section and the range components in the rear portion. Barrel diameters are common for all sizes to save behind the panel space and permit the use of common hole punches. Wilbac design allows for ease of custom dials, ranges and functions. User requirements can be easily accommodated.
DC Shunts / AC Transformers
In applications requiring external DC shunts and AC transformers such as remote sensing of current or sensing of currents in excess of 50 amps, Design Development LLC offers a complete line of portable (with base) and switchboard (without base) shunts and CT transformers. In keeping with the Wilbac policy of excellence at reasonable prices, our shunts and transformers are of highest quality but priced moderately. Adjustable and custom shunts and specialty transformers are also available on request.
